Ode to a Friend

She came to me at my darkest hour. It was a year after 9-11, my staff had resigned due to the stressful circumstances, and my wire house employer was giving every indication of blowing themselves up.

Lynn was referred to me by a friend who said, “She is a little rough, but she will always tell you what she thinks and you can trust her with your life.” He was exactly right. She would take the bark off of me when I needed it, but I could trust her with my life (and I did). She was a friend and a trusted ally

Lynn left this earth too soon. She had a lot of living that she still planned on doing. We will miss her terribly. So many of you have been kind and so very patient as we learned to live without her.
