Star Spangled Salute

Local Rotary Clubs worked together to promote a Star Spangled Salute on the 4th of July in downtown Columbia to celebrate our Nation’s Birthday.

A patriotic program was followed by a parade around the Maury County Courthouse Square. The parade was led by the 40 & 8 Engine, followed by children and adults dressed in red, white, and blue. Some on bicycles, others pulling wagons, all were decorated for the occasion. The parade participants were treated to refreshments afterward.
